About me

I served in the RN from 1975 to 1991 leaving as a CHOPS(M) from the first Type 23 HMS Norfolk.

I am the communications manager for the HMS Ardent Assocation and that is how I became active in the setting up of the Type 21 Club social networkig site.

Mick Brain is flying in from Oz and Jamie Hale from Chicago so the beers are on them for being awol for so long!
No need to book, just turn up at the St Levans Inn on Friday 6th November 2009 between 1930 and very late!

I'm sure that the members who knew him would wish to know that Ian (Pincher) Martin (ex Active , Avenger and Arrow) passed away on 17 September.
I was notified of the sad news in e-mails received from his daughter Alison and fellow T21 club member Jim Turner. I'm sure that club members would wish to join me in sending sincere condolences to Pincher's wife Lily, his daughters Alison and Jenny and other family members at this sad time.
